This week the children have been “Walking Through the Jungle” with Debbie Harter’s beautifully illustrated book. The slide was transformed into a jungle paradise, complete with a jungle animal chorus and a jungle canopy. We listened, moved like and ran away from the various carnivores spoken of in the book. Inside were icy and watery habitats for our polar bears and Orcas. We mixed paint, glue, water and ice to make beautiful patterns and a lovely, squidgy mess!
